Go for AMD 64bit Processors with ASUS motherboard
that will b the main stuff for ur kind of computing and ur kind of requirements... it will everthing what u have mentioned....
Go for Hitachi 160 SATA II Hdd (ur mobo should b SATA II compatiable),
Everyting else is Standard stuff now so no need to worry about that...

Enjoy

Can you raise your budget a bit, i suggest you wait till you have some more cash on you before buying you pc. You needs are greater than your budget. its going to be hard to almost impossible to put in everything you want in just 20k.

You have made SO MANY Typos that it's actually hard for me to understand your question, I am assuming you are asking for a combo of Motherboard Plus CPU and hard drive and you budget is 22k. Your budget is too low for getting a combo of AMD X2 + Good Quality Mobo+ 160GB HDD; In that much budget you will only get an Intel Dual Core CPU, whom Performance is no way near AMD X2s; I recommend you for an AMD 64 3200+ "Venice" 512k L2 2GHz,Rs.7,500, DFI nF4 Infinity SLi Rs.8,200, Seagate Barracuda 160GB SATA-I HDD Rs.4,300. that should fit in the 20k mark. as for Vista, It will require a Graphic Card which supports DX 9.0c Plus Shader Model 3.0 (currently both these are supported by nVidia GeForce 6 and 7 Series and ATi X1xxx Series) with atleast 128MByte Ram. this system will allow you smoothly do all the things you mentioned, rest assured! aside from palying "Latest" Games, games like G.R.A.W. , F.E.A.R., BF2 etc are too graphically demanding, if you want to play those games, you'd have buy a good PCI-e Graphics card, i recommend nVidia 7600GS 256MB DDR2 which retails for around Rs.6,500 and will allow you to play these games while providing decent fps. as for your last questions, intel Pentium 4s (NorthWood, Prescott, EE) get whipped by AMD 64s in benchmarks:D

Go with a core 2 duo E6300(as the multiplier is unlocked,OC it until u dont start gettin scared) and some Gigabyte 965X chipset with a PCI-E X16 slot.As for the drive go for the Segate(as Raj said). Also on the graphic side ull need a 6800Ultra SLI PCI-E or a 7300GT according to your budget.or as i said go for something cheaper like a 6500 and OC it.Also Liquid Cooling is absolutely essential to make the things in there survive.Ull also need DDR2 512mb or 1gb DDR.All this can go to 31K.But you can try n find sumthin at E-bay if u can.
