the new ati x1800 series are out for long now. i heard they giving a extreme amount of clock speed and performance but the same problem like geforce 7600 ultra its big size wat do u people think about it?
i heard ati is having heat issues and cant seem to be cooled soon. Will be a problem for india due to its tropical climate moisture and heat are bad news for computer hardware.

It is noticeably louder than the GTX. Temperature of the XT is also higher than the GTX but only by a narrow margin.
But keep in mind that an Overclocked X1800XT beats 7800GTX SLI (STOCK) in 3D Marks 05. Yep you read it right, a SLI.

Don't know about Doom but as for Fear, from what I know the GTX looks to be producing better AA quality in certain area. But these deficiencies can be overcome with driver updates (One area where ATI seriously lags behind Nividia).

The X1800XT Performs this well due to it's Massive 512-Bit Bus. The 7800GTX Performs supreme in Pixel Shader Intensive games like F.E.A.R., courtesy best-in-class 24 Pixel Pipelines. While, the more MHz intensive games get bang for the buck on X1800XT. I am More interested in 7900GTX, which would Be Revealed at CeBIT This year. God knows what kind of bombshell nVidia has in Store for us:)
