how many times can you rewrite a rewritable dvd?
Offcially DVD-RWs can be writed "100" times. but in reality 49 Times is the limit. after that the DVD-RW will start to get unstable. Data is writted on Aluminum plate (foil) write too much and it'll start to loose it's charm. it'll die taking your data as well! IMO, 5 times is enough. after that, it's advisable to just get a New Media rather than save few bucks.

Just five times isnt that a little less? i would say 20 times is ok.
Read my post, you can do it upto 49 Times, but you really shouldn't. your data can go boom just like that.

hey which is the best rewriteable dvd?
LOL, i am confused, are you asking about company? or format? there's only DVD-RW availble (no DVD+RW anyway) if you're asking about company, then i guess it's Sony. however, DVD-RWs cost is bit on high side. typically a DVD-R costs Rs.25, and a DVD-RW costs Around Rs.75:)
