Any downfall on external sound cards ?

I thinking of getting an external computer sound card for my pc, the reason being i can attach it to my laptop while pplaying games and watching movies :D So should i go for it?

absolutely.....just plug in ur USB and enjoy...i've used a sound blaster live....absolutely rockin dude...

i m using creative audigy 2 zs and it realy rocks. u can feel the sound difference while playing the game. but do not expext a magic in listening to songs. external sound cards are realy expensive and i dont hink so they deserve that much. but if u want to get it then go for it.

i like that fact you can take the sound card anywhere u go thats a cool feature i think audigy zs is the best extrenal sound card. Is audigy pro 2 external or internal?

the external one is audigy 2 zs platinum pro and its really expensive
