View Full Version : My computer gets overheated?

lately i have noticed that my computer is getting real hot after just few hours of use. i dont know if its due to summer or if something is wrong with the fan. what should i do??

get a decent cabinet....with options for an additional fan....also try a coolant u get a cream sort of thing for tht...

Leave your computer case open, the downside is that dust easily gets stuck in the fans and other components, but it will keep your pc cool. Alternatively, you can put more case fans.

Also in bios, check your pc's health status monitor. Download motherboard monitor and keep a tab on the temperatures.

Get thermal paste from lamington road and apply it to the base of the heatsink.

Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound when applied between the cpu and the heatsink reduces temperatures considerably... though its pretty rare to find even on lamington.. If you can get that from somewhere... take it.. well worth the money
