NEED HELP
here is my system specs:

Mainboard: Acer E61ML Mainboard
Processor: Intel P4 2.8GHz
Memory: 512MB PC-3200 DDR400MHz FSB
Chipset: SiS 661FX Chipset
System BIOS : Phoenix Technologies, LTD.Version: R01-B3 .

I have been to acer's site and they offer next to NO infornation on this system, absolutely NO driver downloads, updates, or a BIOS update for the mainboard. What I would like to know is if there is any SiS drivers that should be installed for Maximum PC Performance ?I would like a BIOS update also. And can any one tell me the differences between SIS and Intel chipsets .Any help would be appreaciated.

ROFL, Dude, If you want a Driver update you go to Vendor's Website, in this case it's SiS, flashing BIOS is a very dangerous job, unless your Board is under wararntly don't do it, since if any thing goes wrong youc an revert any changes, flashing BIOS Involves copying .BIN Files to floppy, deleting/clearing existing files and booting from floppy and copying files to BIOS whew! so get a expirenced tech Guy to do it for you, if he scroos up, you can sue him and geta new board, simpleas that also, MOST IMPORTANT PART, Flashing your BIOS Voids Branded PCs Warranty! Intel Chipsets vs SiS, well Intel clearly wins, both in terms of performance and other factors, such as Onboard solutions. :)

Or pay those engineers ~500 bucks and they'll reprogram the BIOS in their expensive BIOS coding devices !! However reflashin' it urself is the best choice more often than not.
