View Full Version : Buying gaming laptop in india

ok so i searched all the stores and still couldnt find a laptop that will take care of my gaming needs sure they look good but they are only suited for powerpoint presentations and watching movie. If you try to play a high graphics game the laptop overheats and reboots. i looked at acer, ibm laptop models avaialable in india....all crap! :mad:

well I think no company is at this moment interested in making gaming laptop...

You can get a gaming laptop in india but it will be very costly around 1.2 to 2 lakhs if you are willing to spend that much then you should see the toshiba laptops. In india hcl infosystem are their distributors so you can go check the nearest hcl shop and try a demo of laptop you need.

i havent seen any laptop that has a decent config to run even Doom 3 on them right now...

Only one that i saw was Acer's ferrari special edition...which was awesome when it was launnched

How's about a Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2? It comes with a mobile 6800 Ultra which is the equivalent of a 6800 GT. Me will be getting one by 10th August :D .

Singapore, actually :D . It'll come with the latest batch of laptops for my dad's company, will be taking it to states with me tho :D .

Well, actually the entire setup was for about (US) $2700+ (changes made to RAM and HDD) but, I'm gettin it for (US) $1500 :D

wow it is that cheap and what about import price? are there any website u can order the hardware from? i wanna buy a laptop if its that cheap!!!
